My history
The origins of my name come from an etnic tribe in Venezuela, which is my home country.
My academic background is in Political Science, social leadership, writing, and online teaching methods. In Venezuela, I used to work in summer camps which developed my passion for helping kids discover new skills.

This experience inspired me to find a career path in England where I started to work as a full time babysitter and nanny for British and American Families. These two years of childcare experience gave me the opportunity to develop techniques on teaching children Spanish in a “FUN WAY” and to understand their behaviours and needs. There is a special emotion I feel knowing that I have contributed to brighten a child’s day and future with the experience of learning a language. Who said that learning a language must be boring?
Yeku Teaching Academy was born during the pandemic lockdown in 2020, when one of my clients moved back to their home city (California,USA) and they proposed to me to continue tutoring their children via Zoom. They were very impressed with my skills on how children can have a really fun class in Spanish and not get bored while learning. I took this as my main goal: keep my students interested and having fun. I wanted to treat them with kindness and understanding while making them feel that it was not just another Zoom session, but rather that it was a fun moment to learn Spanish and in a different way to do their regular online home-schooling.
As a consequence of good reviews, spread by word-of-mouth, the Yeku Teaching Academy started to grow more and more. At the present times, the Academy has more than 40 students located in different countries with different ages, backgrounds and cultures!, At the same time, my students near and far all share the same enthusiasm and desire to learn new things, forming what I proudly called "the Yeku tribu".
